“The hotel itself is mostly fine, with a good location and a nice view. The staff, however, were the worst among our eight stays in Sri Lanka. They weren’t friendly or helpful and had a clear “what do you want” attitude. They even woke us at 10 p.m. to ask what breakfast we wanted, which is unacceptable. The “western breakfast” was just buttered toast, and it took 40 minutes, even though every simpler place offered more. They mentioned eggs as well, but after 40 minutes nothing appeared, and...

“Fantastiske rom! Mørke vekker, AC og dyner i sengene gjorde at vil fikk en god natts søvn. Dusjen hadde god trøkk, inkl. varmt vann. Det var god plass på rommet. Vennlig og imøtekommende personal. Benyttet meg også av yoga på morgenkvisten, så kjekt å kunne delta på det. Hostellet ligger rett ved hovedveien, derav en del bråk. ”

“The villa is so big and clean,really surprise.It is so suitable for 8 friends together.The host is so nice and friendly,we arrived at villa at 10pm,so late,but he still waited for us.Another surprise is it has hot water to have a bath,it is so scarce in Sri Lanka.The one and only regret is,you know,in Sri Lanka ,there are many ants and other insects.And in our bathroom,there were many ants,but don't care about it ,they will leave and it didn't influence your trip.So, enjoy the villa,and enjoy...

There is a fan but not a/c and during the night it is quite hot. Only cold water. There is a mosquito net but it is too short so mosquitoes get in the sleeping area. “We were greeted with a delicious welcome juice and a cold towel. Check in was speedy, bags were promptly delivered to our room and the room itself was spacious, cool and with a nice view. The hotel provides towels for the beach as well as the pool and the breakfast was a good spread with an egg station. All staff were friendly and calm. Coconut tree hill is a very short walk and mirissa beach was 200lrk in a tuk tuk but was also walkable. Would definitely stay again”

“The staff/owners were great, friendly and hospitable. The hotel is a up and coming hotel. Rooms are big and comfortable but definitely need some updates. I booked two (2) rooms, the AC in one room, the single, would get cool fast, the second room was a double and it would take hours to cool off. The WiFi was spotty in some areas. The location of the hotel was near the entrance to the beach and shopping area. ”
