Very nice older hotel. Very friendly staff. Lobby and room very clean. Toiletries very nice. HVAC worked great. But the room has a TERRIBLE problem with outlets. There LITERALLY was only 1 outlet in the room - and it was not on the nightstand. It was away from the bed on the table. In 2026 travelers have LOTS of devices to plug in (laptops, tablets, phones, earpods, CPAP machines, etc) and if you have 2 people it is impossibly ridiculous to think you don't need upwards of 4 outlets (including USB ports) on every nightstand. If you travel to this hotel you must bring your own outlet strip or you'll be cursing the lack of ability to charge devices. Especially if there are 2 of you.

What stood out to us was the location. Being within walking distance of bars and restaurants both in Lambertsville NJ and New Hope PA. The towns felt like we were on a Hallmark Movie set. The restaurant on site was amazing. Please understand they do mean partial views of the river. The Riverview Suite is the only room with the tub and separate shower. Only complaint of the Pheonix room was the very slow drainage of the shower.

This is a very quaint hotel right on the river. There is free parking which is great because everything is walkable so you just park once. The location is great. You can walk over to New Hope and there are plenty of shops and restaurants in Lambertville too. The rooms are lovely and very clean. The staff was attentive and helpful.
