"Balata Bianca is a clean, modern, and very comfortable hotel with five guestrooms. It's conveniently located within easy walking distance of the old port and restaurants by the harbor as well as a 10-minute walk to the pedestrian street Via Roma with all of its shops and restaurants. Some of the guestrooms have a small balcony with a view of the harbor. The shower has soothing mood lighting that changes colors. "I loved the tranquility of this resort. The staff were helpful and informative. I was so bummed their on-site restaurant was closed for renovations. I picked this resort for this reason. I wanted to relax at the resort and eat there for dinner. However, they made some great restaurant recommendations. They do have car rentals on-site. I highly recommend that you rent with them and arrange pick-up from the port or the airport. Their bed was the best my whole trip to Sicily. "

"Our room was located close to the reception and from the early morning we could hear the noise from the hallway. That made sleeping after 6am hard. Breakfast was quite limited. However, location was great, fantastic swimming pools and access to the beach. "

"Giro di Boa is a wonderful location for your visit to Lampedusa! Right around the corner from the main promenade.Extremely responsive to any inquiries you may have. The courtesy of a shuttle from and returning to the port was much appreciated. Their breakfast with a view of the port deserves a special mention as does the particularly attentive breakfast staff. A great way to start the morning! Everyone at Giro di Boa has beautiful smile and a welcoming, kind way. I would be very happy to return...

"Fresh, adbundant buffet breakfast served every morning with a good cappuccino (or other type) freshly brewed. Just at 20 steps from a coral color water beach"

Pantelleria Dream Resort

"The staff was exceptional. Always willing to help and provide whatever is needed. Once we realized the lay of the island, the receptionist helped us get a rental car. The dining was superb. Breakfast was a great spread of options. Along with eggs or omlettes made fresh. Dinner was delicious. Again a range of choices and each we selected was wonderful. The room was very comfortable. The bed had firmness that we like. The staff upkeep of the room was generous, fresh towels daily. There is a great infinity pool that overlooks the sea. The staff will give insights to swimming locations. Swimming is great (August), no sandy beaches - Rocky beaches or coves you climb down to, to experience beautiful clear water. If you have a mask and snorkel bring them with you. Plus some sort of water footwear that allows you to traverse rocks. The location is remote. You need a car. Rideshare doesn't exist and taxis are few. Get a small car, Fiat Panda or the like. The roads are narrow, no shoulder, just stone walls from 1foot high to several feet high. Most rental cars are scraped on 1 or both sides. This was a super relaxed part of our vacation (even with the driving), the wind-down before flying home. Pantelleria Dream was just what we needed. It was a great introduction to Pantelleria, great food, helpful staff and peaceful stay."
