Great location and breakfast, tiny shower!

Great location and very nice setting. The breakfast is great but the beds need to be updated as they are extremely uncomfortable. Super small shower. Good value for the price.

It’s a holiday at check in so nobody was available to check us in called phone on wall and key was in drop box we checked our room it’s has no internet and nobody answered phone so we left immediately Needless to say it’s not a pleasant experience

Das Personal ist nicht Aufmerksam, keine freundliche Begrüßung am Morgen oder am Empfang. Essen für die Zubereitung zu Teuer( Schweinelendchen zu hart Durchgebraten- Beim Apfelstrudel war die Vanillesoße kalt.

Schloss Hotel is always dynamite. Been staying here since 2003...hasn't skipped a beat. Great food, and even better setting in nature, and a very fair price. Highly recommended!

Schönes Hotel in ruhiger waldreicher Umgebung. Genügend Parkmöglichkeiten sind vorhanden. Spät-Check- in über den Schlüsselkasten hat problemlos funktioniert. Die sehr freundliche Dame an der Rezeption, machte am Nächsten Tag eine kurzfristige Änderung meiner Buchung von 1 auf 2 Nächten problemlos möglich. Mein Zimmer war renoviert und hatte einen kleinen Balkon. Frühstück war auch lecker. Den schön angelegten Saunabereich mit Außen-Whirpool habe ich auch genutzt. Tauchbecken und Biosauna waren außer Betrieb, was mich aber nicht weiter störte. In der Dampfsauna und Finnischen Sauna konnte ich gut entspannen und den Tag ausklingen lassen. Negative Bewertungen kann ich nicht nachvollziehen, für mich hat alles gepasst.

This hotel has no air conditioning. Fans are usually fine for Europe, but the room only had a table fan. The shower was so small, turning around turned the water off. The hotel is near trails, Nanstein Castle, and Landstuhl Regional Medical Center. Breakfast was excellent, and staff was kind. This stay would be more tolerable in the winter.

Beautiful hotel nestled in the forest near the Nanstein castle ruins. There are walkways all around. The restaurant has limited hours as does the front desk. The room had the typical German amenities and decoration. I stayed in a single room so I wasn't expecting much room. The staff was friendly.

The property is very beautiful and well kept. While the sound buffering between the rooms wasn't optimal, the hotel was relatively quiet. The homes were nice and clean. The bed was extremely comfortable. The restaurant onsite was excellent with more dining options close by!! The location was perfect for my trip.

Old World Charm

Excellent "old-style" hotel. Service is very accommodating and staff attentive. Very clean rooms and restaurant. Breakfast has a nice choice of hot and cold items, fruits, cereal and yogurt.
