“On arriving, our room had a small flood (leaking from the boiler) However, the staff were very good, and put us in another room. The very next day they had replaced the boiler with a new one and we were back in our original room. The rooms were very clean, tidy, and very spacious, and situated in a way that every apartment had its own privacy space. Staff very helpful. Bus stop directly outside that ran every 30 minutes to the centre of Playa Blanca and was only €1.40.”

“We arrived on a Wednesday and joined the weekly BBQ. It was excellent! The location is fantastic being close to the beach and restaurants. We were in a one bedroom which was clean and had everything we needed. Owner and staff were super friendly and knowledgeable. Would definitely stay again. ”

“La habitacion dejaba mucho que desear. Las puertas y paredes parecian de papel, se oia todo lo que pasaba en el pasillo y en habitaciones cercanas, lo cual hacia muy dificil el descanso. Dejaron solamente dos toallas (ni toalla de mano ni alfombra) y solamente un rollo de papel para 4 dias… Por parte del personal de recepcion habia siempre bastante desinteres, parecia que estaban en su casa con amigos y familiares haciendo sus cosas y con cero interes en los huéspedes. Desde luego no repetiria....

“Perfect location, not far from airport and a taxi ride away to Puerto Del Carmen (about 12 Euros). room with ocean view, clean and modern. Upgraded to Preferred Club would highly recommend. Food good quality, cocktails are genuinely good especially Espresso Martini. Staff super efficient and friendly. Been here a few times and won’t be the last. Perfect place for total relaxation. ”

“Great breakfast, clean room. Staff friendly. Indoor pool a bit tired and only open 2-6pm. The massage jets did not work and the jacuzzi was cold. Need to pay extra and organise in advance for steam room and sauna. Ideal location.”

“Cannot recommend Blue Marina suites too highly. The location is excellent overlooking the sea front but still very quiet. It is close to many good restaurants and the facilities in the apartment are very good. It is spotlessly clean We stayed for one week and would love to visit again.”

“The room was very clean and as described - the kitchen included all the things you need for a shortish stay, we were able to cook dinner when we wanted to. Site lovely and quiet - out of town but with easy access to a bus route or the beachfront walkway. The beds are very hard - it's put me off ever having a memory foam mattress! Although there are safe's in the room, you have to pay rental for a key to use them (it's the same rule for the air conditioning remotes) which seems a bit much when...

“Lovely hotel and super friendly staff. Rooms huge . Areas of wear and tear in rooms. The breakfast buffet was very poor worse one we’ve ever had. Hot food was luke warm. Lunch buffet worse than breakfast buffet . So much so we only used it twice we decided to pay to eat out despite having paid half board. Shame the food seriously lets the hotel down and belonging to such a large chain of hotels this should not be the case”
