Ihana pittoreski pieni hotelli maaseudun rauhassa, kuitenkin lähellä Lappeenrannan kaupunkialuetta. Erityispiirteenä hienot Salpalinjan betonikorsut opastauluineen heti tien toisella puolella. Tilava huone ja oma keittiönurkkaus tuo helppoutta lapsiperheelle.

Peaceful and historic location near Lappeenranta

A historic building on the outside, modernized on the inside, the guest house lies on the Salpa Line which was built to defend Finland during WWII. The Karelian flag flies proudly in the garden. The hosts arrange tours of the line and enthusiastically suggest walks and activities around Lappeenranta. The walk from the house to the lake Myllylampi was beautiful and alive with birds. Rooms are equipped with kitchen and dining areas.

It was described inaccurately. Rather than a boutique hotel, it is a basic apartment style hotel. It was fine, clean and generally ok but nothing special to recommend. After an adequate but unenthusiastic introduction to the area, we saw no one after that...

Hyvä vastine rahalle

Hyvä valinta, jos liikkuu omalla autolla. Bussit kulkevat melko harvoin, pysäkki tosin on aivan hotellin vieressä. Lappeenrannassa oli Kalevan kisat, joten tarvitsimme yöpymispaikan, emme kaivanneet mitään muuta ajanvietettä. Hotellin lähellä on kaksi vuoden 1940 Salpalinjan maanalaista bunkkeria. Oli mielenkiintoista nähdä nekin samalla. Hotellihuoneessa oli todella hyvä äänieristys.

Очень уютный отель. Красивый интерьер. Комната читая, с мини кухней, стены звуконепроницаемые (у соседей были младенцы, но мы их не слышали). Пользовались барбекю зоной и сауной. Хозяйка была максимально любезна.

Great hotel in a nice quiet place

The hotel staff was simply excellent. She was very knowledgable about the environment and more than happy to share and direct is to everything there is to see in Lappeenranta (which is more than you might expect). The sauna is very good, we enjoyed it very much. The room came with a kitchenette and some ingredients for breakfast (tea, porridge). Comfortable bed, too.

Kansakoulu viihtyisänä hotellina

Entinen kansakoulu on muutettu viihtyisäksi huoneistohotelliksi. Sisustus on kuin tyylikkäässä mummolassa. Henkilökunta on ystävällistä ja avuliasta. Lapsille on pelejä, pulkkia ja luistinrata. Huone on hyvin varusteltu ja siisti.
