"Great 2-Night Stopover, convenient location.
I recently stayed at the Savoy Hotel Mactan Newtown for a quick 2-night stay (arriving May 30th) as part of a hotel and flight package, and it was a a great choice for a seamless stopover.
The location in Mactan Newtown is incredibly convenient—only about 15–20 minutes from the airport, which made arrival completely stress-free. Everything you need is within walking distance, including local restaurants, cafes, a supermarket, and convenience stores.
My room was clean, comfortable, and well-equipped with good air conditioning and reliable Wi-Fi. The staff were exceptionally polite, welcoming, and quick to assist with any requests.
They serve lovely breakfast buffet as well with good selections, the ampalaya salad was my favourite.
The hotel has a pool, a gym and on site spa that offers affordable rates. A major highlight for me was the amazing room service Sampaguita full body signature massage provided by the hotel spa staff. I slept like a baby after a long flight from the UK. I'd definitely recommend, both the massage and the hotel for anyone who would like a hassle-free base in Mactan."
