Disappointing Stay
We looked forward to staying at the Oscar. Upon arrival no one at reception and no instructions about what to do. I located the telephone number on Hotels.com and spoke with someone who gave me the entry code and then sent a text with information. The room was in need of paint and a deep cleaning. Breakfast was an insult, a few pieces of bread, orange juice and coffee and very rude help. No butter, jam, fruit, yogurt, cheese, etc. unlike a normal petit déjeuner in any hotel. There was never anyone at reception except in the morning, absolutely no service. The entire stay was a true disappointment.

Merci au personnel de réception/petit-déjeuner qui a été infiniment accueillant et serviable. Petit hôtel en plein centre, imbattable au Havre. Côté déco, on retrouve parfaitement l'ambiance 50's du style Perret. Dog friendly pour couronner le tout.

Un séjour sous le signe de l'architecture
Séjour très positif dans cet hôtel original au coeur de la ville du Havre. La décoration est soigné et parfaitement adaptée à la ville, dans les style des années 50. Les chambres assez différentes, nous avions une petite chambre donnant sur rue. De taille réduite, la décoration était très chouette : appliques colorées, jolie peinture. La salle de bain etait simple, petite mais fonctionnel. Linge de douche propre, douche, lavabo et WC dans la même pièce. Je recommanderais de prendre la chambre supérieure. La notre était tout de même un peu petite et la vue donnait sur une rue adjante plutôt que sur la place. Dans le couloir, une pièce d'attente était aménagée avec du mobilier des années 50. L'hôtel est vraiment sympa à découvrir, on voit que beaucoup d'effort et de soin y ont été apporté. Idéalement situé, l'hôtel Oscar est parfait pour découvrir la ville du Havre. Il donne sur la place centrale, en face de la mediathèque. Restaurant et petit commerce à proximité. La mer est accessible à pied ainsi que les différents lieux à visiter de la ville. Par contre les chambres ne sont pas très bien insonorisées. Nous avons été réveillé pendant la nuit par un groupe. Mais le bâtiment est de Perret donc il se peut que l'aménagement soit un peu complexe. Le hall est lumineux, le personnel très sympatique. Toutefois la réception n'est pas tout le temps ouverte. Un code d'entrée à la porte permet d'être totalement autonome mais cela manque un peu, peut être de contact humain.

Manque d'entretien dans l'ensemble de l'hotel:
escalier moquette très sale, salle d'eau à refaire (plafond peinture décollée, non fonctionnement de la porte de douche ,manque bonde lavabos.....), garde de corps des fenêtres très vétustes......

Déco très vintage, accueil au top. Le personnel est très attentif et sympathique. De plus pour les personnes intolérantes au gluten, il y a enfin une possibilité d'avoir un petit déjeuner adapté, surtout si on les prévient à l'avance.
Je recommande vivement cet établissement.

Cet hôtel ne mérite pas selon moi la cotation: ''Fantastique" !
Cet un hôtel vieillot, Très mal insonorisé, avec un matelas de qualité très moyenne (De même que l'oreiller)
Par contre le petit déjeuner était très bien, ainsi que l'acceuil.

Hotel atypique dans le centre du Havre. Ambiance très vintage dans la tendance actuelle avec un petit sentiment d'être à la maison.
L'hotel est assez bruyant les parois sont fines, mais il y a un respect de chacun et les bruits sont tout a fait raisonnable.
