โThis is a beautiful property located close to Normandy. It was a perfect place for us as a base from which to visit Omaha, Utah and Juno beaches, as well as the American and German cemeteries. The Hotel is in an elegant chateaux that has been converted into lovely rooms. We had a suite that was roomy and comfortable, with a great bathroom. Stunning grounds and gardens. A great pool. And the restaurant was over the top. Oliver and John are warm and friendly hosts. Elegant setting, amazing food...

โUnbelievably beautiful property. Sandrine and Rodolf were amazing hosts and their place is a bucolic sanctuary. Every detail well apportfrom food to decoration to cleanliness to attentiveness. I cannot recommend this property enough. โ

โWe spent two weeks at this hotel. The staff were brilliant, always helpful with a 'nothing is too much trouble' attitude. The rooms were well cared for, breakfast was a wonderful choice and to sum up, I would recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Bayeaux and the surrounding region.โ

โMy wife and I have been wanting to stay at the Hotel de la Marine for almost 20 years, since we ate at the restaurant there. Our stay of a single night was quite special. The excellent and friendly staff arranged a sea-view room for us and we were delighted with our views over la manche. We ate at the restaurant in the evening and the food lived up to our previous expectations. Whole crab, followed by Dover sole and lobster linguine.....and an excellent bottle of Quincy vin blanc.
