"Excellent facilities, great room, clean modern comfortable.
Location is great and staff is extremely attentive.
Only ding is that they make you pay for ordinary tap water at your table for lunch and dinner when water is free at breakfast and various stations near the beach, pools, and rooms"
"Absolute paradise of a location!! The views are spectacular and there is wildlife everywhere you look. The sea is crystal clear and amazing for snorkelling in the shallow reefs with so much wildlife and different ecosystems. The room was perfect for us , we stayed in a sunset junior suite with a beautiful balcony, sea views and a massive bath! The cleaning staff were great, we never had any issues with hygiene. The food was very decent and a lot of options for different eaters, the seafood is a standout. The only real negative is the lack of entertainment. We were there early February and it seemed to us on most weekdays there was no entertainment, and the ones we did have of a weekend was of a lower standard than were used to. Having stayed at Lux Belle Mare a year ago, we were surprised with the difference in entertainment. If you want quality live music of an evening choose Lux Belle Mare as there is more of an active evening scene, but if you’re looking for a very calming and slower paced holiday choose here! We would still give this hotel 5 stars, and we got engaged here in the treehouse which I would pick for any romantic celebration. The celebrations centre performed outstandingly, as all staff here do, and couldn’t have asked for a better way to propose to my now fiancé."
"We spent a fantastic two weeks at Tamassa Bel Ombre. The team were warm, attentive and consistently professional, and both the restaurants and buffet were excellent throughout our stay. The themed evenings were a real highlight, particularly the Mauritian night, which beautifully captured the spirit and flavours of the island.
The beachfront location is ideal for long, peaceful walks, and the lagoon is perfect for snorkelling – highly recommended. The spa facilities are well maintained and a great place to unwind. It’s also conveniently positioned for exploring the main tourist attractions across the island.
A very well-run resort in a superb setting."
"Luxury resort with amazing amenities and incredible staff. Customer service is outstanding , location is unbeatable and breathtaking, spa is sooo good and restaurants variety are amazing "
"I really liked this adults only hotel. Compared to the hotel we came from in Grand Baie, this was a nice and relaxing change. Without kids running around, it made for a quieter and more relaxing stay. Everything was lovely from our room to the grounds to the available water activities. However, with the lack of children, the food options were limited. Sometimes I just wanted a simple pizza or some ice cream, but that wasn’t available at dinner. Also, the nighttime entertainment was less touristy and family oriented, which isn’t necessarily bad, but it would’ve been cool to see some local, cultural entertainment. The overall atmosphere was very relaxing and serene, which I loved. The vibe in Flic-En-Flac is just very chill, which I also loved, in comparison to the busy, touristy vibe of Grand Baie.
Really, there isn’t too much to complain about here. The staff was very friendly, the beach/pool areas were great, the room was nice and big, and it was easy to park the car since the hotel was at the end of the street (I.e. not much traffic). I’d love to go back to this hotel in the future. Highly recommended!"
