The property had a nice deck with a view of mountain side. Cabin was clean with nice bed. Would have been nice to have grill utensils and a pan for the hot plate. Staff was very responsive. Overall nice place to stay. We were in cabin 7.
This is an old property, which is not a bad thing, but some of the paint and finishes need a little attention. The bed was very clean and comfortable, all linens were clean. The room was large and clean. Great value and smoke free room, which is awesome. Contact-less check-in was great for our very late arrival, and ample, close parking. I would stay again.
Absolutely loved our stay! Everything was better than I could have imagined, made our vacation the best it could have been! Great communication and not a single problem.

The room was nice and clean, but there was no chair to sit on. The bathroom was clean, but had no curtain on the window and no soap or shampoo for the shower since the dispenser was empty. For the check in you need to be sure you check your email when you have a signal.

Clean room, comfortable bed, and great location. Would love to stay here again.
Comfortable, clean and convenient. The room was spacious with a large bed, microwave and fridge. There was plenty of coffee, and salt and pepper. Parking was convenient, just outside our cabin. The bathroom was newly decorated . The weather was very warm but the aircon worked well. We would stay here again.
We selected Ponderosa Pines because it was the most reasonably priced of the many hotels in the Deadwood/Spearfish area. We could not have been more pleased!! This little (probably Vintage 1950's motel) room #20 was spotless, with such a fresh, clean feel, contemporary furnishings, gleaming appliances, bathroom. Nice long front porch outside our room, with chairs and table for morning coffee and reading, and old stagecoach in the grass beyond. Would love to stay again.
This was a wonderful stay! It was very easy to get to and to check in. We got a great night sleep after a long day of traveling.
I love that it was pet, friendly, and beautiful surroundings.
