“Such a great find for the last night of our road trip- the apartment was spotless and so well designed. Our son loved the garden and we enjoyed the peaceful balcony and the beautiful surroundings. The perfect place for a family stay only 35minutes drive from Le Shuttle.”

“Absolutely stunning! We loved staying here, it was the perfect place to relax after a busy city break. The property and grounds are beautiful, outside table and chairs to enjoy a picnic, perfect for a pet.”

“This is a fantastic place to stay prior to an early morning channel crossing. The hotel really is lovely, as are the reception staff. The rooms are clean, modern and very comfortable, and the hotel parking at the rear is very convenient. We chose not to eat/drink at the hotel and instead walked into the town. It's a fair walk to the centre, but it's worth it as there are plenty of lively bars and large selection of restaurants. We had a great final night before coming home to the UK.”

“Chateau Tilques is located a few miles north of Saint-Omer in a small village. The Hotel comprises a Chateau style hotel and grounds, with an external annex of rooms of some size. I stayed in the annex which was comfortable and well decorated. Some minor issues were irritating. The key-light master switch by the door was hard to locate and too complex to insert the key card to turn on the electricity in the room. Trying to do a fiddly task in the dark is irritating. There was no proper light...

“Let's start with the positives: 1. Staff friendly and helpful 2. Great central location 3. Nice breakfast 4. Very lively restaurant (in a good friendly way) However... The beds are TERRIBLE! The king size ones are two singles put next to each other, mates toppers smaller than the mattresses and one sheet. Awful. To make it worse, sheets feel like paper and below that there's a plastic sheet making your night squishy and sweaty. We moved to a smaller queen size bed and at least it was one bed...

“ATTENTION selon l'annonce il y a un bain à remous dans chaque chambre et un spa privatif, or j'étais venu pour ça et me détendre cependant le sauna est à 25 € pour 30 minutes et il n'y a pas de bain à remous. Donc au final j'ai voulu m'excentrer pour profiter de ces services mais nous nous ne retrouvons pas dans un spa mais dans un logement classique... Personnel très accueillant”
