Enjoyed staying at this hotel. It’s not fancy but certainly has everything one needs. The breakfast at their restaurant nearby is a very nice bonus. And the location is great!

We stayed in one of the rooms across the road from the restaurant, and the room itself was good. It was reasonably modern, clean and air-conditioned. The room was quiet, and had a small balcony with a reasonable view. What let the experienced down considerably was the rudeness and incompetence of the staff, who manage both the hotel and the restaurant/bar. We had a negative experience in every single interaction with them. We were staying here as part of our walk of the Camino de Santiago de Compostela, meaning that we have stayed in a different location every single day - during all that time, never have we experienced anything like the very poor attitude to customers that is present at this place. Therefore, I cannot recommend this hotel for this reason. Have a look at reviews on this and other websites for an indication of what this place can be like.

It has an excellent location; across the plaza from the Basilica of San Isidoro, just blocks from the cathedral and the barrio húmido section of town. An easy walk from the train station. The breakfast (in the restaurant section) was also popular with peregrinos; it was a joy to wish them Buen camino.

I stayed in room 102 right next to the reception. I could hear people talking very clearly and loudly from my room. It lasted until very late at night. And people leaving very early with the noise that the morning. I didn’t sleep well at all.

The room mattress... has seen better days a long time ago. It's a foam mattress that sinks in after a while... not comfortable at all. The building, as a whole, the facilities have stood still for some 30 years, or more... in general, everything needs good maintenance.

NEVER AGAIN WAS UNBELIEVABLE

Room was in the eves of the building with no head room no storage no view.One window but you cant see out of it because its 6 ft off the floor in the rafters..Place is grubby..The bed was so flimsy it moved when you lent against it..No parking by the hotel although the pictures show spaces these are for deliveries and unloading only...The parking they do have access to cost is 18 euros a night per space and is a good walk away..One woman trying to sort a very poor breakfast but obviously couldnt cope to the detriment of service.Not her fault just needed more staff.

The lady who worked the front desk was extremely rude. They had a sign outside directing people to the cafe, but because i was not yet checked in, I had no idea that the cafe was a separate establishment. I knocked and tried the buttons but no one was available. So i tried to see if the doors slid open and the woman who works the front desk came up yelling. She continued to be extremely rude throughout the entire check in process and when i told her i didnt have a spanish number to give her, she stood there and stared at me without saying a word. It was the first experience in any establishment that I was welcomed so rudely.

Don’t do it to yourself.

The room I stayed in was an attic with no light, and no usable space or furniture. It had nothing to do with the presented pictures and was not even in the advertised building. The wifi did not reach, and the window (too high to look out of) was the size of a post card. The included breakfast (which they denied in the morning till I showed my booking details) is a piece of stale pastry and jam, period. No eggs, no meats, no cheese, no fruits... I travel full time and I routinely stay in places much worse than this. The cheating, I do not consider acceptable. I paid EUR 92. Hotels.com provided a EUR 50 discount voucher following my complaint. I suggest staying somewhere else or being prepared for surprises.

Nos ha tocado en el edificio del bar que tienen, en la tercera planta, sin ascensor y con un ruido encima de la cabeza toda la noche debido a alguna máquina que tenían en el tejado. Nos acabamos durmiendo por cansancio. La atención en la recepción no la ententendimos mucho, si tenías suerte pillabas a la chica, o no, porque esta yendo y viendo entre la recepción y la cafetería. Hablamos con otros huéspedes y había alguno que llevaba horas intentando localizarla. La habitación con restos de haber tenido bastantes humedades. Relación calidad precio mala desde nuestro punto de vista comparando con otros hoteles en los que hemos estado. Es de dos estrellas y no de tres como se publicita en Hoteles.com

Un hôtel confortable dans un emplacement idéal.

Hôtel dans un super emplacement en plein cœur de la ville historique, sur la place, exactement en face de San Isidoro et du Real Panteon. Accès très facile en voiture, et parking de l’hôtel à 2 mn à pied, pour 18€ la nuit. Accueil efficace, mais pas de réception permanente. Petit déjeuner typique de bar espagnol, dans le café en face. Chambre spacieuse, refaite, salle de bain neuve, petit balcon. Lits confortables. Meubles un peu vieillots. Climatisation, balcon, rue tranquille pour un centre ville.

Bien central pour les visites et restos, parking public pas loin, possibilité de déposer les bagages avant devant hôtel et même laissé la voiture si il y a de la place jusqu'à 10hr dans la rue juste à côté. La chambre devait être non fumeur mais comme ce n'était pas le cas, il nous ont changé de chambre.

Una buena opción en León

Un hostal muy bueno para alojarse en León. Está al lado de la Basílica de San Isidoro y uno puede pensar que habrá mucho ruido, pero para nada, no se escuchan ruidos. La habitación es amplia y la cama bastante cómoda. El baño también está bien. Tiene aire acondicionado, lo cual se agradece con los veranos cada vez más calientes que tenemos. Al tener restaurante, ofrecen desayuno, media pensión y pensión completa. Recomiendo coger al menos media pensión, así tienes la cena asegurada al lado del hostal. Por poner una pega, el desayuno es algo escaso y acaba temprano (a las 10). Teniendo restaurante abierto todo el día no se entiende está limitación.
