“Our host was so friendly and helpful, the room was clean and comfortable and the breakfast was abundant and delicious! ”

But all in all (& for the price) was excellent. Chaumont is a beautiful town. Buffalo Grill brilliant!!”

“Our check in could be described as perfunctory boarding on the brusque . Upon arrival and pressing the bell we waited a few minutes and someone came along. Didn’t introduce himself or even say “ Welcome etc”, just “what is your name, then your room number is, handed over keys and asked about breakfast. We weren’t even told about the residents lounge ( which we discovered the next morning - a bit too late by then). Rooms were moderately clean, with a couple of spiders and cobwebs in the ceiling...

“The room was spacious and warm. The owner met us on arrival, he was very nice and spoke French clearly and slowly so we could understand. He was very helpful. Breakfast was excellent, good choice on offer and the coffee was great excellent. We would happily stay again.”
