Perfect stay!

Very conveniently located in the old town, in the less busy area. However, the busy area is just a 10 minute walk away. Manager is very hospitable, and speaks great English.

Beautiful hotel just by the river in the heart of old town. The breakfast was very tasty, only thing that could improve is to have a double curtain so garden room can have more privacy.

Reserved this place over other five star luxury modern hotels in the area because our business traveling group wanted a more local, authentic experience. We had high expectations which were exceeded. Situated in aruguably the best and quieter part of Old Town close to a preschool, Amy the owner was a wonderful host who made you feel like you are at home and kindly upgraded us to rooms with breathtaking views of the canal and mountain. We had an amazing and enchanting experience and marked this as a place to definitely revist with our friends and families later in the future!

Great hotel in ancient town

Fantastic hotel in the ancient city. Beautiful old tea house, with lovely courtyard and clean and modern room. Extremely comfortable bed. The staff were lovely and very helpful (especially since my Chinese is very limited). You should enjoy tea tasting with them as well

MUST STAY IN LIJIANG

We had an AMAZING time. We were so pleasantly surprised to learn this hotel is actually owned by the same family for over 100 years. It truly feels like you are staying with family. The Chinese breakfast was excellent (the baba was my favorite) - they also have Western style breakfast. Amy was so helpful in helping us make restaurant reservations, and great recommendations. We even did a free tea tasting and bought a lot of excellent tea. Truly a wonderful time, could not recommend it enough! The room was clean and perfect. The location is excellent as well. There even is free laundry on site!

We had an amazing stay. It is a beautiful old home and is walking distance to most parts of the old Lijiang Town. The staff were extremely helpful in recommending things do and places to go. There great opportunities for us to mix around with the other guests and staff during the breakfast time to know more about the local community. I would strongly recommend this place if you like to stay in a cozy and homely place.

Totally recommend.

It's totally recommended. The workers are all really nice. Once we arrived they offered tea and asked about our schedule and helped us to arrange it better. Recommended some nice restaurants and also helped with the trips to other areas. ​Being inside of the old town in a traditional building it's a great experience also. Rooms are big, confortable and clean and they even prepare homemade breakfast for you. ​it was a great experience in lijiang and hope to visit it again.

Our family of 4 enjoyed our stay very much in the spacious and clean room. The mod-con like bidet in toilet was a bonus! Host were very friendly and helpful and we even had a private tea appreciation class and bought some raw puer tea home with us. We hope ro be back soon.

Wonderful gem in old town Lijiang!

We have so enjoyed our stay here! Our hosts have been so welcoming and helpful to us! This is a family home converted to a lovely guesthouse. We have sampled delicious tea from the family farm in southern Yunnan, and enjoyed the most amazing breakfast each morning! The house is perfectly situated in old town, and the rooms are spacious and beautifully decorated. A real gem. ❤️

It is really nice hotel. I stayed there from November 10th to 13th with my friend. The hotel is very clean and service is perfect. The location is inside of the old Lijiang town where the cab could not reach. But whenever we go out for touring, the hotel guy took to the point to take cab or shuttle where is 5 to 10 minutes walking distance. the other lady hotel step was also very kind and English fluent. If I go there again, I will firmly staty at this hotel.

We loved this hotel. My mum, sister and I, we all loved this hotel. On the day of the arrival, we took a taxi to the closest ancient town entrance point which was around 5 mins walk away from the hotel. We went through a clean and well-built stone pavement, passed some nice shops, stepped down a stone stair, then found this hotel which was next to a clear water path, so we were pleased even when we were approaching the hotel. As soon as we arrived, the hotel owner and her staff gave us a warm welcome by offering us a nice and hot Chinese tea, some flower cakes and some cozy chats. We had a home feeling. The hotel room facilities and communal amenities are first class with a professional taste! The owner and her team offered high standard services to us throughout our entire stay and always willing to help, to provide the useful local information and to book taxi and local show tickets for us etc. All of these made our travelling experience in Lijiang super easy and enjoyable. We highly recommend the hotel and you wouldn't be disappointed...

Fabulous staff, best location, stay here!

This small hotel made our stay in Lijiang great. The location was in a really pretty part of the old city. The room was comfortable, quiet and clean. This best thing though was the warm and helpful service. They go out of there way to help you enjoy Lijiang and to make your stay fabulous. Big thanks to Ang! I also loved the little wine bar/restaurant next door.
