“Great location, great room, the only thing that let the hotel down was our evening meal which was not at the standard we had previously experienced and staff managing restaurant on the evening did let it down. Saying that, breakfasts were fabulous, and otherwise great experience and will definitely stay again.”

“The hotel looks great from outside. Enjoyed the surroundings and the relaxing atmosphere. However it is quite isolated with no nearby restaurants or pubs to hang out. The double room was only tiny & didn't look like the advertised photos. Lift doesn't stop on the 1st floor that I had to carry my luggage throught the stairs.”

“The Old Palace is a unique place to stay. Very enjoyable. More like an old church. Staff very helpful and delicious breakfast included. Close to cathedral and sights.”
