"Tracey helped us get a room when Expedia screwed us by not sharing our info with the hotel when there was a problem with one of the 3 cards that were on file didn’t work, causing them to cancel our reservation. But Avid came through for us."

"If you’re going to something on the UofA campus, this is the place to stay. Staff is nice and rooms are good. My only issue was they playing music early in the breakfast area and my room was right next to that area. It was if they were playing it inside my room. The staff was nice but told me management dictated the time it has to be turned on and what the column has to be set with. I’ll make sure I don’t stay in a room close by."

"The staff was amazing and the morning breakfast from 6am-10am was wonderful. The room was clean- but is due for another upgrade soon. The same with the street view. Overall, a great price and a nice stay. Free WiFi and cable, free parking, and free breakfast. What else could you ask for?"

"This property is beautiful. I loved coffee being delivered daily in a Stanley camping thermos. The cleaning crew had to asked several times to clean the room and one of the staff members was incredibly rude. When I tried to talk to a front desk member they replied they will get it when they get to it. There were no towels to use by the pool and no one in office to tell. Housekeeping is quite lacking here."
