A lovely place to stay while visiting Lisbon. The rooms were clean, service was wonderful and the downstairs restaurant was delicious…the layout of the is a bit odd but adds to the charm. Breakfast was also fab!

My wife and I loved this Casa. Small, intimate, historic, comfortable, amazing breakfast in the garden, great location, well appointed - even had hair conditioner. Do not hesitate to stay here because we won’t and we hope to be back. Just wonderful!

This hotel is a WORK OF ART. Super convenient to a fun market right out the door and it has an amazing Turkish restaurant. The staff was friendly and our room was comfortable and so beautiful that we wished we were staying longer.

Casa dell'Arte Club House is a unique hotel. It's a luxurious, very old house with only 3 guest bedrooms, a large indoor dining room where breakfast is served, a secluded patio where breakfast is served in warm weather, and a large living room. Breakfast was excellent and quite ample. There are beautiful blue and white tiles on the wall and many interesting art works.

Would go back in a heartbeat

We loved our time at this Hotel and would highly recommend it. The decor, the art, the sheets and the bathroom amenities were all excellent. The staff were all lovely and the breakfast each morning was amazing. We also enjoyed a delicious meal at the restaurant, Listanbul, too. The only thing missing from our room was an iron and ironing board and also note there is no car parking nearby on a Saturday due to the large flea market.

Beautiful old building in Old Town. Small three room total property. Beautiful art throughout the property with a view of the water. No lift so awkward with heavy luggage and bags. Do not recommend for anyone with mobility problems.

Staying here is like staying in a beautiful mansion . The interior is stunning with the original tile work covering the walls . Beautiful chandeliers, antiques and artwork complete the stunning interior . We had breakfast served in the terrace and in the dining room . Wonderful breakfast ! Service was great . The attached restaurant “Listambul” served up delicious Turkish food .

Authentic and unique

Authentic and unique. Stunning former single family home now houses 3 rooms for visitors, as well as incredible Turkish restaurant. After staying in a number of larger hotels, we were happy to have had this neighborhood experience. A few things to note - if you arrive on a Tuesday or Saturday, outside and all around the building is a huge flea market, which we also enjoyed, but you will not be able to be dropped off at the door. Also, there is no elevator, guest rooms are on 2nd floor.

Hidden Gem in Lisbons

A hidden gem in the best neighbourhood in Lisbon with beautiful views of the river from every room. A true Art Lovers Paradise, with the most spectacular collection of art furniture and decor. The rooms are extremely spacious, the living room, dining room and terrace are immaculate. Breakfast is delicious. Lots of attention to detail by every member of the staff who were warm and welcoming. I would go back again and again. The restaurant “Istanbul” has the best Turkish food outside of Istanbul. I highly recommend this property, the best place to stay in Lisbon ❤️

Booked a 4 Star property , no elevator or luggage help , expecting so much more for the price. No TV; no wifi; no staff (except breakfast lady was charming); carpet in common room was covered w/ food and crumbs all 3 days of stay. No parking, as advertised, due to flea market on SAT and Tuesday. Area seemed safe , house was charming , but BR & shower inpractical and messy. Expedia failed me to blindly endorse inaccurate write ups and descriptions to charge higher rates.

Casa del’arte is hands down the most beautiful place I have ever stayed! I was so knocked out by the preserved antiquity, the stunning blue and white tiles and the elegant decor. Celine and her staff were wonderful and I will certainly stay there again! The proximity to Alfama was thrilling.
