"Our stay at the hotel was part of a family trip, and we had children ranging from 10 months to 4 years old. We reserved three bedrooms for our family, and the accommodations worked very well for us. Whether you are traveling alone, as a couple, or with your family, this is an excellent place to stay. The staff were very helpful and welcoming, and the hotel was clean, quiet, and comfortable. We also enjoyed the beautiful scenic views of the surrounding area. The breakfast was excellent, with a great variety of choices. There were also plenty of places nearby to eat out. My family enjoyed their swimming pool! Overall, we had a wonderful experience and would happily stay here again."

"This historic hotel should compare to resorts such as the Greenbrier, the Homestead, the Broadmoor in customer service. My only complaint in that regard was the lack of staff upon initial arrival at the front door. I am used to never being allowed to touch my luggage until a porter has delivered it to my room. I'm used to not having to open my own car door when I arrive. I'm used to a doorman when I enter the lobby. None of that happened here and I think it should. That being said, I loved the hotel and I'm sure we'll stay again. I loved the history, including the haunted history. I loved cocktails on the sweeping veranda overlooking Mount Washington. Our room was small by today's standards but superb in every other way. The complimentary shuttle service to "off campus" resort properties and amenities was great. I believe this hotel will be on my calendar next summer!"

"This hotel is a delightful surprise! Comfort Inns are usually more casual, while this hotel give a upscale vibe. Newly renovated, from the landscaping to the rooms and common areas it was wonderful. Friendly and helpful staff. The rooms were large and very clean. Just off the highway, this hotel is a hidden gem."
