It was clean and was as advertised which is a pleasure especially on a trip such as ours because we did a lot of driving, hiking, and laughing. Also located in a great location easy to get to town and to yellowstone."

"We had a fantastic stay at Under Canvas and absolutely loved both the setting and the experience. The location is incredible, and our tent was beautiful — comfortable, atmospheric and such a memorable way to experience this part of Montana. A particular mention has to go to Tyler, who checked us in and out. He was genuinely friendly, welcoming and incredibly helpful, and really added to our experience. Exactly the kind of person you want greeting guests. The food was good, although we did find it very expensive, even allowing for the remote location. Our only real negative was one member of staff working during dinner, who was consistently rude in every interaction we had with her. One example really summed it up: my husband’s dessert was delayed because his original choice had sold out. When the replacement arrived, he was the only person sitting at our table. She announced the dish, he confirmed it was his and thanked her, and she then put it down at the empty place setting on the opposite side of the table and simply grunted before walking away. It was such an unnecessarily unpleasant interaction and unfortunately very much in keeping with the rest of our experience with her. That said, I don’t think one person should spoil what was otherwise a brilliant stay. Everyone else we dealt with was lovely, the setting and tent were amazing, and Tyler in particular was excellent. Overall, a really special and memorable place to stay, and somewhere we’d happily recommend."

The master bed was super comfortable and the indoor pool with lounge beds coupled with the hot jacuzzi and gym where a huge bonus. It was nice to have a real get away to relax after a long day in nature. We would definitely stay here again."
