"Absolutely amazing, great location, nice and peaceful. Host made sure that me and my friend are happy with everything and she was available if we needed anything. We had a lovely welcome gift ( Prosseco, chocolates and delicious Welsh cakes), the hot tub was warm and ready for us on arrival. "The cottage was very quiet and remote yet the road is no problem at all. It has a stunning view and there’s a walk route where you can explore nearby villages and farm. The cottage owner was friendly and accommodating. She prepared freshly baked scones, milk, coffee, tea, sugar ready on our arrival. She checked on us as well twice to make sure we’re okay. Waterloo Hotel Lodge

"A lovely hotel with very helpful, friendly staff. The food in the bar was excellent with good service. Easy walking distance to a good range of shops, bars and restaurants. Lovely relaxing spa facilities after a day out walking. Good central location for walkers. Accomodation was comfortable and clean. Would give it a higher rating than 3 star. Would definitely recommend to family and friends."

The Royal Victoria Hotel

"We booked the Royal Victoria for it's closeness to the Snowdon Railway, I don't think it was even 300 yds, excellent. Breakfast was buffet style and I have no complaints about the food, it was brilliant. Unfortunately, our train was only allowed up half way because of storm "Amy", however while on our way home we decided to look around the slate lake and people were queuing for the Summit trip, so, my wife went and booked another trip to the summit, we couldn't see anything when we got to the top because of the mist and so windy, but, we did it :-) We will book the hotel and summit trip next year when the weather isn't going to be an issue!!!"
