โHaving the waterfall just outside the hotel was beautiful! You cant see it, but you can hear it and its amazing.
The only thing that let down this hotel was the hot water. They had been having problems with the water for a few days, and we werent told on arrival. So after being on the road all day we didnt get to have a hot shower. This was an ongoing problem the time we were there.โ
โFantastic place, great customer service with the staff but especially David who went above expectations. Friendly, helpful and nothing was too much trouble for him. He is an asset to your team. Well done David. โ
โLovely old building but in need of general updating. Grounds and gardens lovely and very well kept with easy access to the river for walks. We booked โDeluxeโ double room but nothing like the publicity photos, comfortable enough though. โ
โExcellent quality accommodation, situated within sight of the sea front. Very tidy well maintained property, quiet and comfortable.
Only problem was car parking facility, which was a council owned park opposite. Charges were very high hourly, ยฃ7 for a day.
In all, an excellent break. โ
โWe loved the little window in our rooftop room and food was generous portions, fresh and well presented.
All staff were chatty and helpful.
The windows of parts of building could do with up dating but didnt effect our stay.
We would happily return .โ
