“Now marketed as the Drum Hotel, Expedia should do the same and not use Drumnadrochit Hotel! The room was small for a twin room and very basic for storing clothes etc. Overall the staff were helpful on reception when asked anything about visitor attractions. We only ate one breakfast in the cafe. Would have preferred a proper breakfast room with more obvious element of being served. The cafe had no yoghurt so one breakfast was unavailable and as it was Bank Holiday the reason we didn’t eat again...

“What a warm welcome at a beautiful hotel! The manager made me a fire & brought me a glass of champagne upon arrival. Dinner reservations were taken care of & I only wish we had been there longer. Attention to detail is so apparent. And the gardens are stunning!”

“Die Lage ist toll. Man ist komplett im Grünen und hat Blick auf den See im Tal. Der Aufenthaltsraum war gemütlich. Das Frühstück wurde ins Zimmer/in den Kühlschrank gestellt. Als Kaffee gab es für jeden nur eine Tasse zum Aufbrühen und löslicher Kaffee. Eine Kaffeemaschine würde das Frühstück deutlich verbessern. Ansonsten war alles top.”

“It was just ok. Very basic room, small but very bare amenities. Bathroom vent very noisy. Towel warmer had wires hanging out and no decor on walls, but seemed clean. The view was good but the price we paid was too much for the quality of room.”

Room was a bit small but had a comfortable bed. the washroom was quite large and had nice warm towels. The launch area and the amenities more than compensated for it.”

“The contact person was rude. Did not respond to email. No hot water. The bedrooms smelled like bad body odor and carpet in both bedrooms were stained and dirty, when we arrived it was cold and we had to figure out how to use heating system. There was no binder or instructions for guests. Do not stay they do not value guests here. Very unfriendly.”

“Die Lage ist phänomenal, das Gebäude historisch und von daher sehr schön. DSD Zimmer sehr groß mit allem was man brauchte und noch viel mehr in top. Weniger gut war, das man keine Beschreibung bekam wo der Empfang ist (separates Gebäude) , die Anweisung an der Klingel nicht hilfreich war und man dann anrufen musste. Wir kamen mit recht schwerem Gepäck und mussten dieses alleine 2 hohe Etagen aufs Zimmer sxhleppen. Das Personal war insgesamt sehr nett, bis auf eine Dame die recht „direkt“...

“Lovely, well equipped, cosy little apartment ideally located for activities on Loch Ness and beautiful walks in a variety of terrain and easy reach of Fort Augustus and Inverness, some right from the doorstep. Lots of nice welcoming touches and the owners responded quickly to request for information. Good shower over the deep bath but it’s a bit slippery and a couple of grab rails and a non slip mat would improve safety for those with mobility issues wanting to immerse themselves in a soothing...
