Top gourmet restaurant and service, decent bar and bar snack offer also available. Good VFM overall in a stunning location overlooking Loch Rannoch.”

“Booked an executive double room which was very spacious and had a large bath too. A bit dated overall but clean and we had a lovely overnight stay. Dinner and breakfast were both good quality with gluten free options. I enjoyed using the pool and sauna (pre book) however disappointed the hot tub snd steam room were not in operation. Also, the spa was closed both Sunday and Monday. Hotel is set in extensive grounds and is a 15 minute walk into Aberfoyle. Plenty EV charging points at the hotel....

“The accommodation was ok could do with a revamp as u can see signs or wear and tear ”

“The staff were very nice and helpful, however the facility was old and in a bit of disrepair, which can be charming if the price were not so high. Pitlochry is a wonderful but expensive little town so this was not unexpected.”

“Good location and breakfast but room and hotel looking a bit tired. Hot day when we arrived but heating in our room was on full so like a sauna. Asked for a portable fan but reception forgot so had to chase. Also windows in room didnt open properly so hard to get air in”

““I stayed at the Atholl Palace Hotel for two nights, and unfortunately, I was disappointed with several aspects. The water pressure in the bathroom was weak, making it uncomfortable to shower. The bed and other facilities were quite uncomfortable as well. There was no concierge service, which I found inconvenient. Apart from the nice views and the historical charm of staying near the castle, I didn’t find much value in the experience.””
