“We had a quiet sleep with good air through the windows. A fan was provided but no AC. The dinner at the hotel resturant was a true French meal with a wide selection of wines. ”

“What a superb little place, not so little as the dog and I had the house to ourselves. If you want something which is quiet, safe, typically French and within a 10 minute walk of a fab bistro in the village then this is for you. Host was superb, great communication and attention. Would highly recommend as a pit stop if driving from UK to Spain.”

“If you like old towns with history and want to stay in an old coaching inn (logis de france), then stay here! It is old but cleaned very well. The restaurant (also dining room for breakfast) is beautiful. Le monsieur (owner) is a excellent chef and madame serves meals for an elegant and unhurried evening. often only 4-6 other tables dining. We stayed for 3 weeks and loved Loches and the Hotel de France!”

Parking off site but secure, 5 minutes walk to the centre of the town where there are numerous places to dine. An excellent location and place to stay.”

“Great location. All city shops, restaurants and historical sites easily within walking distance. The pool and sunbeds were particularly welcome in the late afternoons on the hot days we stayed there. Fan provided in the room was a bonus (temperatures were exceptionally high).”
