"Sadly a really disappointing stay, our room (particularly the bathroom) was starting to look very tired, the WI-FI is nonexistent and we were very disappointed to learn that the spa (including use of the pool) can only be booked for 1 hour at an additional charge of €20pp - there was virtually no availability which meant we weren’t able to use any of the facilities. "

"We accidentally booked room without private bathroom, phoned up to change that and the lady on the other end of the phone was so rude we almost cancelled, should have as it happened. "Right by the river, this hotel offers some nice views. It is also an easy walk to Bodegas Franco Españolas on the other side of the Ebro, or to Calle Laurel, which is a lively lane of tapas joints in the centre of town. Every staff member I encountered was polite and helpful, especially the gentleman who asked the bartender to give me big cup of ice. (There’s no ice machine at the hotel) If you own a travel-sized EU hairdryer, you may want to pack it, since the one here is the useless kind that is attached to the wall by a short cord and requires you to hold down a button to make it run."
