De kamer was in de kelder. Ontbijt niet uitmuntend. Met trappen naar de kamer. Een doolhof was het. Aan de receptie vonden ze onze reservatie niet direct terug en het ontbijt was volgens hun niet inbegrepen. We zouden het zeker niet aan raden.

Didn’t realise that we had booked a windowless room, three floors underground. Lift didn’t go down there so we had to go round the back of the hotel, up some stairs and then down three floors. No window means the rooms are horrible and muggy, and have no sense of time/daylight.

Das Personal war sehr freundlich jedoch war unser Zimmer ganz anders als erwartet. Es hat extrem gestunken, man konnte die Fenster zum lüften nicht öffnen, das Bad- und WC war ziemlich ekelhaft und es roch darin wie in einem Bahnhofsklo. Für eine Nacht ok, aber länger hätte ich es nicht ausgehalten.

Would have liked face towels to be standard in rooms (they are available on request). Shower door was almost off of hinges and did not completely close. Otherwise, rooms were clean and well maintained, very quiet for sleeping.

A bed for the night. Didn't need any more. Niggles: -the walk from our room from reception was involved numerous turn/ steps up and down, and took about 10 mins. Apparently the lift was broken which was why it was so confusing. -A big school group was trying to check in whilst we wanted to check out, all three staff were working on this and meant we had to wait about 15mins to check out. Otherwise the stay was perfect for all we needed.

The hotel itself is not too bad and for a budget hotel it looks nice. Our first room was in a dungeon in the basement, it was terribly gloom and we had to move another room. When they clean they don’t change the bedding. During the move we left a charger in the room, the next day I notice it was missing so I went to the front desk informed them and requested they check the room, they said house keeping will have taken it and placed it in lost and found however they are currently closed so they will ask in the morning. Next day I came and asked, i was told they couldn’t find it and nobody has taken it, they checked cctv. So I said they don’t have cctv in the rooms so they can’t conclusively say that! They argued and I left it alone because it’s just a charger. In both our rooms every time someone flushed the toilet or showered from upstairs you could here the water go down the wall which was disturbing. On our last day of checking out I was at work and my girlfriend was checking out, we had 3 bag and 6 suitcases she got to the lobby after a few trips back and forth, when the cab arrived she asked reception if someone could help her and they refused saying they have no one, by this time she was exhausted, the cab couldn’t stop outside the hotel it had so it stopped on a side road, she made 3 trips every time asking for help in which she got a reply of “we have no one” on her last trip and old cleaning lady assisted her while the 4 staff at reception watched

first room we were allocated was very cold as the heating did not work and we were transferred to another. Did not get the early morning call we requested. Pre-booked breakfast was poor, coffee luke warm as was the hot breakfast. Complained to staff and were refunded the cost of breakfast. Staff were very nice and helpful no complaints there. The rooms were comfortable and the hotel was quiet.

Un hotel muy cuidado y aunque está lejos del centro está muy cerca del tren y del bus. Personal agradable y atento. Desayuno buffet básico pero con el típico English Breakfast.

Good stay

Good facilities in room and great breakfast. Bed was two twin mattresses pushed together so not the most comfortable to sleep in the middle. Room a little small for bed size. Overal though a good stay

A nice hotel, clean and accessible - though note that in rooms without windows, the air con is needed to maintain good airflow, and there is some noise, even when in 'quiet' mode.

Really unhappy that my car has been blocked in in the car park which I paid a lot of money to for the receptionist to apologise for waking up the people who blocked me in leaving me running late. £10 To park then not to be told it doubles on event nights to £20.

Great hotel at a great price

Really nice stay. Clean room and great bathroom. The best thing about this hotel is the price though. Some of their rooms are absolute bargains for the quality they are.
