Relaxing, comfortable stay

Wonderful property a few minutes walk from a tube station that gets you right into the center of London in a flash. Property was very comfortable and relaxing after a long day touring the sights in London.

We had a wonderful week staying in this house. Very quiet and safe location. The house itself had everything we needed, excellent wifi, kitchen, washing machine and dryer. A lovely garden. It has 2 bathrooms and three toilets. It was very secure, with sensor lights at the front door. It is very close to the bus stop, short walk to West Finchley Underground. And there is a nearby laneway up to Finchley shops, with lots of small shops and a SuperTesco. We were contacted a couple of times to ensure we had all we needed. Not intrusive, just friendly. We can thoroughly recommend this house.

TERRIFYING EXPERIENCE! AVOID!

WE FOUND A STRANGER LIVING WITHIN A LOCKED ROOM AT 2AM! Upon arriving to the house we saw an upstairs bedroom light on, in a locked room which then turned off. We thought nothing of it despite being abit scates. Then at 2am i got up and went to the toilet and the light was visible as i approached the locked bedroom. As the floor creaked the light suddenly turned off again as if someone heard me appraoching and panicked! Terrifying experience! No locks on any of our doors so all of our possessions were vulnerable. No mention of sharing the house with ANYONE beforehand or on the ad (advertised as 'Entire house')! Upon complaint, property managers completely ignored our concerns and refused to take the matter seriously, saying 'it might be the owner but dont worry he wont go in your areas'. This is ridiculous as the room in question is isolated on the 1st floor so it would be impossible for him not to. We had no idea who was in the house and it could have been anyone for all we knew. Absolutely unacceptable and so unsettling, creepy, and unsafe. Also very dissapointed in hotels.com's feeble attempt at an investigation - a couple of days attempting to contact the host and being ignored and then giving up, despite agreeing with how horrific the situation was. We will be attempting to take this further! In addition to this, black mould found next to the (broken) single bed and rubbish bags strewn along the drive upon entrance. Avoid this property at all costs!

Little Gem

This property is absolutely super. So cosy, comfortable and clean. So ideal with being less than 5 mins from the tube where you can get on the northern line straight to the centre. It is within walking distance of finchleys main high street with shops. As for amenities in the house, it has so much. The kitchen has more than you could want and is super clean
