Booking was not recognised by Hotel.

Booking was not recognised by Hotel. I had to quickly find a new hotel! They need to work more closely with Hotels.com to solve this issue. I ws not the only one affected staying there.

Expedia charged for breakfast but the hotel does not provide it (Covid). Shower ran very hot then very cold, presumably as rooms on lower floors took water. Bathroom mirror light not working. Table lamp not working - reception had no spare bulbs. Kettle on/off switch damaged.

Small Rooms but best staff

The hotel staff were kind enough to accommodate our request of changing the room but the rooms are very less spacious and the toilet and shower are very small.

good news bad news

Service is non-existent. Location is perfect for Paddington railway station and Paddington tube station. The rooms are tiny. The bathroom is a little bigger than the airplane. Do not plan to spend any time at the hotel It was clean and quiet.

Advertised breakfast and when we checked in they said there not doing breakfast due to COVID yet all hotels around were serving breakfast ( we were going hotel indigo for breakfast quite expensive but very nice ). Towels in the room were never changed.

Piccolino hotel review

The check in was quick and hassle free. The room itself is basic but it was spacious enough for one person, the bathroom was a bit of a squeeze. I used the shower and the sink and there was no hot water in either. The bed was comfortable and I had a good night's sleep. I did have a problem with checking out as when I left at 7.10am, there was a sign on the door saying back in 10 minutes. I waited 20 minutes and nobody showed up so I had to leave the key on the cabinet by the door as I had a train to catch. Maybe there should be a place you can leave keys if there are no staff at reception?

Good room in a great location.

The room was beautiful and clean, a great location near Hyde Park. My only complaint was that it said we had breakfast included in the price but when we arrived there was a sign on the desk saying no breakfast due to Coronvirus. I believe this should have been transparent at booking.

Emplacement parfait. 5mn a pied de2 stations de métro et de Hyde park. Pas d ascenseur, donc prévoir bagage léger si vous êtes logé au 3eme étage. Très mal insonorisé, on entend les voisins s'ils sont bruyants, donc prévoir boules quies.salle de bain vraiment minuscule. Petit déjeuner nickel. Personnel très serviable.

This is a very conveniently located hotel, just about 5 minutes walk from Padington Station in Central London area. This is a nice budget hotel with friendly staff, nice clean rooms and good breakfast. Rooms and bathrooms are definitely small and could be bigger, but considering overall conditions, this is a nice budget hotel with good value for money.

The room was beautiful but small. It was perfect for one night. I was mislead into believing there was free parking but for £30 we were able to park overnight just a few blocks away. Breakfast was unique. But then again I’m not from England so I’d not seen most of the offerings. Still delicious.

You will find everything u need for a B&B, staff is very friendly, decent breakfast. The hotel is on the small side so if you are using a wheelchair or a big pram you are bound to struggle a bit. Thankfully our room was on the ground floor so we did not have to climb the intimidating stairs.

Le plus : la situation. A 5 min à pieds du métro et d'une vingtaine de restaurants. Le top quand on a beaucoup marcher en journée et que l'on n'a pas envie de partir à la recherche d'un resto ! Les moins : salle du petit déjeuner minuscule et chambre au sous sol... avec fenêtre mais quand même !!! Je ne suis pas exigeant et je vais dans ma chambre d’hôtel uniquement pour dormir, mais voir le trottoir londonien par en dessous et tout de même un peu limite !
