The back gardens are lovely. Just to note readers that Bath Road is under Heathrow flight path but I had no problems sleeping.

The room was very basic but it was clean. The showers and toilets were shared and not en suite, but I knew that when I booked it! The staff, especially the receptionist were excellent. Very friendly and welcoming.

Stay was excellent though when I checked out, putting the room key into the drop box, I never received any notification from the hotel that my stay was completed. Make sure to get confirmation from the hotel staff that you have checked out.

No frills no thrills.

The room was nice and warm. Despite appearances the bed and pillows were comfortable. The room is situated on a busy road with Heathrow a stone’s throw away. But the room is reasonably quiet. As long as I kept my eyes closed it was fine. The lovely Mrs Vania emphasised it was a budget hotel with shared amenities.

Was very disappointed i had paid for bed and breakfast to be told no breakfast included. The bunk bed was too dangerous for my son to sleep on, The sockets were hanging out the wall, the room door handle was falling off which made me wonder how safe we were and the cabinet that the sink was atrached to was falling apart. No tv in room either. The only good thing we had was the double bed was comfortable and good location for the metro.

You get what you pay for.

The price was very competitive, so take that into account. We stayed at the Stirling part. This was like a hostel that was in serious need of refurbishment. Lamp with no bulb. Wardrobe with no hangers. Sheets that had seen better days. Furniture seemed to be bought at charity shops. The Skylark part was better. There were upsides. Friendliness. Better breakfast than I was expecting. Make your own tea/coffee. Free parking.

For over 100 a night you get a small single bed and a sink- oh and a very very small and noisy fan. Toilets and showers are shared. It’s really more of a hostel vibe.
