Great location and brilliant pub with a range of drinks and excellent pizza. The staff were also helpful and accommodating. The room was very hot and stuffy and needs a bit of a refresh - especially the bathroom.

The hotel is situated in a great location - close to all the main attractions, but in a much quieter area, so away from the crowds. It was great to stay above an authentic English local pub. The staff at the pub were very nice and a special shout out to Ray who went above and beyond to make our stay pleasant. The pub food was very good and the pints of beer were poured to perfection!

Very comfy bed and pillows! Even though its above a pub that was very popular with locals it wasn't noisy. We stayed during heat wave and even though it was warm the big open windows and fan kept us cool. We stayed 4 nights. Also recommend the pizza!!

Bottles of water were supplied in a fridge as well as a fan. Both super considerate with how hot the weather had been. Staff also looked after our luggage until late as we had a concert before we were able to check in. Everyone was super friendly and kind

Spotlessly clean and friendly staff. The shower head was a bit spotty and as it was a heatwave a fan of some sort in each room would be nice. But overall pretty good for the price.

On the good side, we were able to do an early check-in and the pub's staff was very kind. The pub is well-located, at about 20 minutes by bus from Westminster and very close to Waterloo station, in a nice and calm area. However, we had a room very different from what was advertized - but also quite different from the reviews, so perhaps we were unlucky with our room. The room was windowless, despite the establishment claiming all rooms had windows. It seemed like it's been empty for a long time, with lots of dust. There were bugs in the shower and the toilet smelled like a tavern toilet. You can clearly hear the music and sound from the pub itself (though it seemed to close quite early, maybe around 11 PM). Overall, it felt like a dusty, smelly and unclean room below a ship deck. As this seemed far different from modt reviews, perhaps we were only unlucky. Also, we were there only for one night, but if we were staying for a longer period, we would have ask to change room, or go elsewhere if necessary.
