"This resort was one of the overall nicest properties we’ve ever stayed. The grounds were clean and well cared for the staff was super friendly and inviting if you needed something, the beaches were amazing. I would highly recommend this property for anybody to stay. Make sure your driver will take you into town for groceries because when we were there, the restaurant had limited hours and was not open past 2 PM"

"Where to start…. Really nice part of the newly developed beachfront. Quiet too. Beach is right across the road which isnt too busy. Hotel, is great, room was perfect, balcony was lovely, breakfast was great, garden restaurant for breakfast overlooking the beach was fabulous, sky bar was nice and chilled, view lovely. Downstairs bar was nice and had a fun pool table for a quick game or two. Staff were awesome, we had some flight issues, short notice, extentions, staff couldnt have been more helpful and teally looked after us. Vung tau isnt really well known amongst my fellow western travellers, so the resort is very vietnamese, but amazingly welcoming to everyone. I felt at home there, everywhere and the hotel felt like our home for the week or so we stayed there. We will be back."

"Iconic Long Hai is one of the better properties located in Long Hai. Staff are friendly, rooms are clean with the exception of the grout inside the shower. The bed are comfortable, however the luggage rack are design more for just carry on luggage’s. If you bring a large luggage, it will not fit. Breakfast buffet only available on the weekends or whenever they have high occupancy; otherwise, there’s an à la carte menu. The breakfast is decent. At night time, they close the garage door, so if you drive a vehicle, it can be a little bit of an inconvenience . You personally have to go to the front desk to let them know that you either want to enter or exit the garage. At night time, they do try to save electric by having the lights turn off in the lobby. They have the lights turn off in rooms corridor as well, which can be dangerous. Checking out was simple. The don’t hold any credit card for incidental , so they have someone check your room before leaving. One thing, I felt that was odd, is the front desk is very concern with returning the room keys. Most hotels I stay at, they don’t really care if the guest return the room keys or not, especially if it’s a five or four star property. Overall, I would return, it’s just now I know what to expect."

"We found the best feature for us was the swimming pool. The complex is very large and there is quite a lot of walking. And at my age walking up hill is not good. They have these golf carts that pick you up whenever you want. So that’s another way to get around. But we still enjoyed our stay"
