"The property is right on a very busy main road, the main bedroom is at the front so traffic noise is an issue. The curtains aren’t blackout curtains so street lights are an issue and one being faulty and strobing intermittently didn’t help. The exterior of the front could definitely do with some tlc as well. "Loved our stay. Our first family trip away with our 10 week old baby and even she loved it. We had everything we needed at our finger tips. The only slight downfall was the Wi-Fi connection. It was quite hard to connect to and very slow. Being in an area with poor reception for data, the Wi-Fi was definitely needed but we both struggled to get any use out of it. Amazing place though, would recommend. "

"Lovely caravan which was very clean and dog friendly. Well stocked including bowls for doggy. Communication from the owners was excellent. They even sent us a list of dog friendly walks some with dog friendly pubs. Lovely dog friendly pub Mason Arms just across the road from the camp where they let doggy sit under the table whilst owners had a meal. It was a small caravan site which was quiet and well laid out just what we needed."

"A great hotel in a prime location . Staff were friendly and attentive. Breakfast was excellent and refreshingly full service no making tea and toast. Parking could be a little challenging at times but it also has some free access to 13amp plugs to charge your car. We had a balcony onto a lovely waterfall but smoking is allowed . Would definitely stay again if in the area. Ambleside is great for vegetarian / vegan."
