"This hostel was in a great location, on a bus route just 10 minutes from the city center. It had parking and breakfast available and the staff were very helpful. Room was clean and comfortable (we had a twin ensuite). Very flexible check in"
"This was a lovely large room in a stately home tucked away from the lively Salt Hill seaside promenade. Unfortunately we hit rush hour traffic as we approached. inching through the busy Salt Hill city center. We arrived during a rare heat wave. Like most accommodations in Ireland, there were was no AC or fans and no television. There was not a tea kettle in the room, but the house offered use of a large communal kitchen where some guests apparently cooked dinner (based on cleaned dishes drying next to the sink). The owner left out tea bags, milk and wafer cookies and there was a lovely patio outside. It was about a half hour walk into Salt Hill and a drive into Galway city center. We met the owner who graciously advised us where to get a coffee with a view of the ocean, not to mention generously sending a print of my ancestor's house I foolishly left behind. There is also a cafe in a hotel a few minutes walking distance from the site. If you are looking for a quiet, tranquil place to rest and relax on your trip to Ireland this should be at the top of the list."
"Room not available on arrival for 'guaranteed 'availability at 4pm for dinner we're offered a table at access door unruly children going in and out our orders both starters and mains were wrong eventually had to speak to manager ordered room service breakfast our order card was lost hence no breakfast arrived had to ring to get it delivered arrived cold no salt or pepper"
"Very basic room but clean and good for a short stay. Unfortunately, breakfast was greasy with few choices for people who do not enjoy Irish breakfast with bacon and sausages"
"Great hotel, lovely view but the patio needs a bit of tlc - the tables look awful.
Room was spotless, large and we'll equipped.
Really happy with the location and quiet stay"
