The keypad on the door was broke, I had to wait for someone to hand me a key to use instead of just fixing the keypad battery. There is no temperature thermostat in the room, nor one accessible, so it was freezing on night, and a sauna on night two. There is no mini refrigerator in the room, so be prepared to buy a small cooler and a bag of ice. There was an ice maker in the hotel, but it was empty and turned off on day one of my stay, until I mentioned it to the lady bringing me a room key because my door was broke. You are right next to the street downtown so it is noisy with traffic, but they do provide ear plugs and noise maker machine. I had no local TV to watch it’s a firestick, but every time I tried to watch a movie, the internet kept going on and off, every few minutes all night. The room is clean and cute, but hopefully they owner looks into my comments, suggestions.

Lovely but have a few pointers.
Lovely place. A couple of points to help others. 1. No climate control. If you are a naturally hot person, or sleep hot, you will not be able to change the temperature in your room. A fan was provided but it didn't help. 2. Very bright street lights and noisy street. They provide eye masks and ear plugs (I saw those when I checked in and said "great"). 3. You have to have a code to get in the building and your room. No one checks you in or is even at the door. Look for an email (I didn't get one) or reach out to the hotel before to avoid standing on the street by yourself at night trying to figure out how to get in. 4. No elevator. Be prepared to carry your bags upstairs. This is very pretty. Bed was comfortable. Sheets were microfiber unfortunately. Added to my heat problem.

cute but not clean
the hotel was cute and quaint but the sink and shower had hair in it and when I realized it had hair, it was no one to contact regarding the need to get it cleaned out. I wouldn't stay there again.

This is not the experience we want any of our guests to have and would have gladly rectified the situation immediately had we been notified. We are available by phone 24/7 and I spoke with your booking agent really late in the evening when she called to confirm your late check-in. I would have happily taken your call as well.

Beautifully remodeled in historic building in a quaint city. Great communication from owner. Everything was super clean and classy decor. We loved it! Nice sitting area with well stocked breakfast items, snacks, juices, sodas, bottled water and coffee. It was quiet and perfect. Absolutely lovely! Will stay again.

Great boutique hotel. The room was beautiful. Had plenty of free drinks and snacks available in the common area. Would recommend to anyone wanting a nicer experience than your average hotel stay.

Stay was fantastic! The hotel is in an old Masonic Lodge built in the early 20th Century. We stayed in a suite and couldn’t have been happier.

Was surprised to find a phone number for checkin rather than a person. Also the only outlets in my room were in the bathroom. Overall very clean, comfortable and cozy.

I am sorry you were not pleased with your stay. I tried to be as accommodating as possible to your 1:30am check in time and provide to you as much information related to our city and county wide water supply that was totally out of our control due to the extreme temperatures we have experienced over the last few days. I also followed up with messages to you this morning checking on you and offering any help I could and received no response at all. If there are any issues not related to the water I would really appreciate you letting us know so we can improve for future guests. Again I am sorry about the experience you received at The Mason.
