"This hotel is aged. Pain peeling, furniture faded and knocked and carpets from a bygone era. Car parking is in the town on a public street which entails carrying luggage a long way to the hotel rail shuttle and then again onto the hotel reception. The rooms are terrible. Very dated. The bed base on the floor with a thin mattress atop a 15cm high base. You don't so much step out of bed when you get above a certain age, as roll out. The bed sagged to so didn't provide comfort. "The rooms are beautifully appointed and quite large. Ours had a lovely balcony overlooking the river. Everyone working at the Hotel Piz Buin was extremely friendly, helpful, and accommodating, which helped to make our stay really enjoyable and memorable. We hope to be able to return in the future!"
