"Received a text with our room & door code earlier in the day prior to arriving. Room was clean & and has been recently remodeled. The mattress or topper is foam or memory foam. I was fighting a deep indention all night. Woke up with a backache & headache. Memory foam mattresses are not suitable for hotels. The only chair was next to the noisy Air conditioner and was too cold & noisy to sit by, so sat on the bed while I sorted photos on my phone. By the time I went to sleep I had a deep well where I had to sleep. Didn’t notice it was a foam mattress prior. The AC really needs a newer quieter model. It was either hear the TV or put the captions on and read what was being said or we turned AC off so we didn’t blare the TV until it got warm & had to turn it back on. Replace these 2 things and it would have been a perfect stay. There are some breakfast items in the breakfast area from 7:30-10. Although simple it was nice. There were Jimmy Dean breakfast biscuits with egg/sausage or egg/bacon, breakfast bars & some other items. There’s also a few colorful tables to sit at. Pizza place next door is really good too. Never saw the owners or who ran it. I did stop in the office on our way out & again no one was there only a sign with a number if they were needed."
"I thought I'd already left a review - but I'm happy to leave another. This hotel was FUN to stay at. The staff were amazing and the room was delightful. The rooms are years 1953, 1980, etc.... and each room reflects that time and place. The place is definately retro and I loved it. I want to stay there again and recommend it and the staff highly.
It is delightful and well located, and the people are wonderful - very willing and able to help with anything you need or information you might want.
As I mentioned, if I am in that general vicinity again, I WILL stay there.... check out the Woodstock room! Water beds and all... hippy haven <3 And for any Elvis people out there - his lovely self is all over the place..."
"The local lady at the front desk was kind and helpful. The room was decorated so cute! I loved the yellow and the floral prints! We didn’t use the hot tub or the pool, but they looked inviting. It’s located at the edge of town, which was convenient because we booked Mesa Verda Pueblo tours. We enjoyed our stay! I was disappointed they didn’t offer GF cereal or GF options for breakfast other than apples & bananas. They didn’t have protein options either. Nice place for the price though."
"Stayed 2 nights. As many other reviewers have noted, this motel provides a very clean room and bathroom and the motel deserves to be proud of its staff and how hard thay work. Everything working as it should. Windows open easily with a modern flyscreen. Comfortable chair and bed. Very nice bathroom. No problem parking. AC works just fine if you need it. The exterior of the building and corridors are somewhat tired, but, a decent breakfast with a variety of options and a good night's sleep; it was good value for the money and l would definitely stay again."
"The room was clean - breakfast wasn’t much.
Weird person spent night in car next door all night smoking something some kind of cigarettes! Didn’t feel very safe with that outside."
"The property and staff we very nice. We had fun and it's location is great for sightseeing. We had the buffet for breakfast and dinner. The Friday seafood add on for the buffet was great."
