"Nice place, only an overnight stay. A slight walk from the main road if you're on foot, under 10 mins. No direct transport from Newton Abbot station but if you fancy a 30-minute walk it's not a bad route. On the tip end of River Teign and quite scenic with a nice outdoor garden. Guessing you can take dogs in as they have a dog wash on site :) Restaurant and bar has some good choices."

"The room was great for an overnight stay. The only negative was the sounds (TV) / talking / laughing from linked room(s). Things settled after midnight but we had a very early start so didn't get much sleep."

"Staff were nice, room was ok, mattress was somewhat soft. Bathroom ok, quite large but walk in shower a bit small, with rubber seal starting to detach itself. Sink was a little small, and the bathroon window had some mould. Location is very good, a short walk to the town centre and sea front, but parking a bit of a pain, not a lot available"
