"Property was excellent, food was outstanding, staff were very helpful, but completely ineffective. I asked the front desk and overnight staff on separate occasions to update information on the account. After being assured the changes were made, I found out later that no changes were made. Although they said they would resolve a billing issue, the issue still persists. Most disturbingly, housekeeping walked completely into the room while I was naked laying in bed. No knock. No “housekeeping” announcement. Just a swipe of the card and walked straight in. Needless to say, we were both surprised to see each other. Although I’ve been staying here for well over 16 years now since the days of The Grand Summit, I’m not sure I’ll be back to stay for more than an excellent meal or cocktail. "

"Parking was great; the place is beautiful and the Victorian furnishings are gorgeous; I especially loved all the Tiffany lamps. My bed was very very comfortable. Very efficient correspondence with the owners regarding code to get in; how to leave the key when checking out, etc."

"Parking was convenient but pricey. The hotel is very clean and the rooms were fine, we paid extra for a high floor. We ate/drank at the bar lounge which was nice the food menu was average. A couple of disappointments the body wash container was empty so we had to use shampoo. We were charged for a hotel room bottle of water. Which were still there when we left. I did call and they removed. The staff there is outstanding! Just disappointed that you pay for a room and you can’t even get room basics. I don’t feel like I should have to call housekeeping to get those items. Someone should be checking the rooms are guest ready before assigning the room."

"We were told our room was unavailable when we called, but by the time we arrived 2 hrs later, accommodation had been made. The manager was very nice. The other staff did not seem to answer the phone when she was there. We would call with no answer, but if we went downstairs a minute later she would be sitting right there. The breakfast was extremely limited - "a to go" or something - one donut and a cup of coffee. No where to sit. We were also told this hotel houses several homeless individuals, and that things were stolen from the hallway. when meant for the person in the room it was left at. In general, the two bookings we made through you this trip were of much lower quality than we have experienced before. This was very disappointing."
