Thai Views | Choui Fong Tea Plantation: Before moving to Asia for the first time back in 2009, I never really knew what green tea tasted like. Sure back in the US we have products such as Arizona Green tea but I know now that is not green tea, they can not even claim it to be green tea “flavored”. It took a bit to warm up to the true flavor of green tea but now that I have I could never go back to any kind of imitation. If you are a green tea fan such as myself, there is one place you must visit if in Northern Thailand and that is Choui Fong Tea Plantation. Here, on this huge green tea plantation, you can enjoy green tea at the source. If you’re like me and have a bit of a sweet tooth, you can also enjoy sweeter treats such as green tea desserts and cold sweet green tea beverages all while staring out into an ocean of green tea.

"It was out-dated room a bit but in a good way for me. Something that makes you feel like traveling back in time in Chaing Rai. the GM Eric and all staffs are so kind and friendly. Their hospitality mind just out of the wolrd for this price point. I never had any breakfast with live thai traditional music before and I can see all the attention to details for creating such a nice ambience to the place. Magical ! Thank you for the experience"

"Ideal location only about 5 minutes walk to the Night Markets where the food choices are plentiful. Near centre of town. Staff were so nice and courteous. Added bonus was the complimentary snacks provided every day including sandwiches if quick enough. But the real bonus was the washing machines and driers which every seasoned traveller knows is a blessing 🙌 "
