Salad Buri Resort - Haad Salad

"This hotel is great value for the location on beautiful Haad Salad beach. The hotel is in a traditional style with dark wood and cream furnishings. It definitely feels dated, but the rooms are a good size with a large bathroom and we got upgraded to a room with a balcony. We really liked the style of our room but the bed was a bit on the hard side. Not the worst, but not ideal for a long stay. Some of the rooms are located up a hill which is great as you will have a lovely view but it's not great if you are not nimble as the rockwork is precarious! We were very careful not to trip and took our time going up and down but it definitely wouldn't suit everyone!"

"When you arrive the front desk seems to be super chaotic but they are very helpful if you just ask for what you need. We could check in at 12pm no problem and they arranged a taxi every time we wanted to leave the resort. There is no grab on the island so taxi or renting a motorbike is the way to get around. The pool area and beach is super nice. A few local restaurants within walking distance and a tops convenience store which was great. Surrounding areas of the resorts is slightly messy but the room was super clean and comfortable."

"Wonderful hotel- very clean rooms, professional staff, big breakfast buffet, amazing pool, and 2 minutes walking from the main beach (mae haad)! Mae haad beach is also one of the rare beaches on the island that has easy access to deeper waters! Great for swimmers."

"The apartment was spacious and clean, well equipped, the small pool a nice add on. Very close to the beach with easy access. Good restaurants right on the nice sandy beach (Crystal Day was our favorite). Front desk helpful and highly responsive. We highly enjoyed our weekly stay. "
