"Very nice hotel Clean. Staff was nice. The plugs in the rooms are strange. There is no plug either British or American, bythe bedside. We had to get an extension cord for my CPAP machine. They did provide that but could use an electrical update"

"Breakfast gorgeous. Hotel was amazing. And the staff were incredible. My partner had an accident, tripped of her own accord. All the staff on that night were just amazing. I was in bits when the ambulances arrived and the staff really really looked after me. I can't thank them enough. My partner remains in a coma but is going to recover. The staff at the thistle hotel were trained in first aid and saved her life. Thistle hotels will be top of my list."

"Room style a little dated, needs a re-fresh, no carpet, window frame rotten but painted over. An experiance of old times."

"This is my second time staying here and has always been very good. It was still good, but I was disturbed alot by the neighbour next door talking incredibly loudly on his phone. Also, I would have liked to not receive an email the day before I am due to check out, asking me to check out online. I think it takes away from your experience of being away if it feels like the hotel is rushing you to check out. "
