"It was a very clean room that still had a 1980's blue toilet and tub. Very friendly staff. My only real concern was a homeless man seemed to be staying under the overhang of the steps leading to the 2nd floor and would come out when ever someone showed up, even after dark. He also came into the breakfast area the next morning, very dirty and helped himself to a waffle, wiping his dirty hands on the staffs towel lying there. I was not able to return to my car after dark for safety reasons. The second floor door going to the outside could not be secured. Safety was really a concern."

"Our 2-night stay at the Brewer Motor Inn was great overall. The moment we checked in, I loved the staff. Very personable, helpful and friendly. I had reserved two rooms - one for my wife and son and one for my elderly Dad who was traveling with us. The check-in went well as we waited in the cute little atrium that had a stocked breakfast nook available. Once checked in and we got to the room, it went mostly well. The only odd things, and for which I had to lower the review score a bit were the very outdated (20+ years old) doorhandles which we struggled to open at first. Now, don't get me wrong, I have these type on my house and they work just fine. But when they get worn out, as these ones were, they get finicky. I hadn't been to hotel/motel with older manual key locks like those in ages. Not a game-changer, but they really should modernize them. Anyway, the room was very clean and mostly well maintained. There were very sparse power outlets, so if you travel with a lot of electronics, keep that in mind. Other than that, all went pretty well. The staff very courteous, even when my dad had an issue where he was SURE he lost his wallet and insinuated to the staff that the cleaning people took it (which they had not). They were very kind and helpful and even offered to help him file a police report. Long story short, Dad's wallet was never lost and he was fine. :) Great stay! Recommended for a casual stop over. Oh yes, and DO try the on-site restaurant! The food was great!"

"Hot tub was great! Rooms dated a bit. Very busy hotel on the Labour Day weekend. Breakfast really suffered due to so many people attending . Staff worked so hard to pull it off but selection was limited severely. Eggs awful and I dislike turkey sausage. All staff were friendly and helpful. First night was $415 a night and 3 weeks later $265 a night crazy difference."

"It was okay for a one night stay, the price was right. It’s an older property but we found it clean. There was a limited breakfast of toast, bagels, waffles, yogurt and cereal. Small area to sit and eat. My only issue was the hairdryer did not work. I called the office to request another and he said he’d look. I called again and he said he didn’t see one. I understand things fail, a $15 spare hairdryer does not seem unreasonable. Check your appliance before you wash your hair!"
