With so much history and so many dinosaur fossils discovered here Makoshika State Park has something for anyone of any age. One of my favorite places we’ve visited. A unique beautiful place!
Makoshika State Park ("ma-KO-sh(ih)kuh" from the Lakota Maco sica, meaning 'bad land' or 'land of bad spirits') is the largest of Montana's state parks at more than 11,000 acres. It is located east of Glendive.
