"First of all, dont use hotels.com for this trip bc you will have to pay more than what you reserved for :))))<3
I saw a comment saying that the receptionists only know how to get money and that is absolutely correct. Checkin process was awful. Receptionist were not professional. Nobody explains anything about the hotel, about the locations, eating times and the activities. You are on your own.
And the guy who was supposed to take us to our rooms along with the other guests MISSED our room (which we reminded him lol) so we had to walk back and try to find our room by ourselvesโฆ (trust me its not easy to find the room bc the number of rooms are not in order)
If its your first time in Maldives, you might think this hotel is amazing but We had been to the maldives couple times before and compared to the other hotels, this hotel was missing a lot.
Other than these,
The room cleaning staff was so nice and the staff in the restaurant were also so nice.
The sea and the beach is great but its not easy to see the sharks.
Pool is great but there are only 7-8 sunbeds so you better wake up early to reserve your seat hahaha
Its a good hotel overall. Except for the communication issues with the reception on the first day, all was great.

"Our first Maldives stop in 2015 was Thulhagiri Resort. I miss Tulhagiri... So, I visited again with my child after 9 years, and the island was still pretty, and the underwater environment was also beautiful and surprising.
I was sad to see a lot of bleaching due to the death of many corals in the Maldives due to El Niรฑo, but I was very happy to see corals coming back to life in Thulhagiri.
And at Big Beach, you can also meet a pod of dolphins.
I met a Mobula Ray family and a Manta Ray, which are hard to see in the water, and my heart was full. There are so many fish, birds... trees... everything is perfect in Tulhagiri.
And on our return visit after 9 years, we were once again surprised to see familiar faces from 2015.
I deliberately took a photo taken in 2015, and it was still the same, so I was happy to meet him and sad to say goodbye.
