“It was a very unpleasant trip because of the rude owner. The garden is not refurbished, so it is not pretty enough to take a walk and there is nothing to see.”

“Large and well laid out motel room, undercover parking and 1 minute walk to the hotel. Good food menu and plenty of variety in the bar. Will book again.”

“The property is in a great location for the local restaurants and walks. We met Mike on our way out in the afternoon and he was really friendly and gave some good advice as to where to eat some local cheese. The bed was really comfortable with a good range of tea and some good coffee. The biscuits were a nice addition as well. We loved our stay here and were fortunate enough to see some Platypus which was a real highlight.”

“The cabin views were amazing , the room was very clean and beautifully decorated. The staff were friendly and welcoming. Breakfast was delicious and there were plenty of choices.Parking close by ,free wifi and a comfortable bed. A very private, quiet location ,just perfect for a peaceful getaway.”

“It was not bad. We tried to book the room which included bathtub but that room all out so we booked 2bed room. In that room no shower gown and slippers. But when we asked they served with free. Nice service, but the view from the room, better not expect about it. The view from restaurant is good bit not from the room. I recommend the restaurant. Breakfast and lunch, both of them, better than the price. I will be back for dinner later. We went there in busiest season so paid high cost.”

“It was a wonderful experience at Maleny Terrace Cottages. Sarah was so friendly and helpful when we thought we would be checking in after hours. We ended up making it in before the office was closed and she helped us figure out which restaurants were open close by. The Thai restaurant that is just 2 driveways away was actually fantastic! There were end chocolates in the room as a welcome treat along with some bottled spring water. We was raining pretty hard so we didn’t get to see the view or...

“Lovely retreat with thoughtfulness written all over! Bed was comfortable. The little pantry was handy. Breakfast was beautiful. Pool with hot tub was a nice touch. Most importantly staff was five-star quality! ”

“Dinner was dreadful, buffet breakfast was ice cold at 7.30am, there was no hot water for a shower in the morning and the pillows were very lumpy and uncomfortable. Very disappointing. Will not stay here again. The only positive was the staff were very helpful.”

“We get an annual car service in Maroochydore, coming down the night before to be first off the blocks as we have a 2.5 hour drive back afterwards. We have stayed at Nightcap at Northern Grounds previously and again on Monday evening. We found the renovated rooms very comfortable, clean, well stocked with tea and coffee making provisions. “Sadly as a new hotel they are still learning, staff were fabulous, no fault with any of them, the amenities were definitely not to our liking, Glass doors on both shower & toilet was a bit overwhelming for an older couple, there was no privacy, the younger generation might have a bit of fun with it. The rooftop bar, fantastic, but, but there should an area the hotel guests use exclusively, at least till a certain time, as I said it's very new & they will probably improve with time.”
