An excellent place; very clean, the staff were very friendly and took great care of us. The parking was very good—everything was great. I highly recommend this excellent place for a family vacation; the stay there is wonderful.

The Tammarck Lodge was beautiful and a must see. The Sierra Navada mountain range is breath talking! Fishing Twin Lakes in Mammoth for rainbow trout was excellent!

This is a unique and very special traditional lodge. Well-appointed cabins all face the lake, and there are walking and biking paths all around. We had an excellent dinner at the restaurant and enjoyed live piano music in the bar. This place is a jewel.

The lodge was lovely and the staff friendly and helpful. We loved our corner room view of the lake and the crag. Breakfast was excellent. I took off a star only because our bathroom was really small. The toilet was positioned too close to the shower; my knees, when seated, would nearly bump into the glass door. Otherwise, we enjoyed our 2-night stay very much.

Amazing location! Very real old time feel. In fact, we had a cabin on Twin Lakes 65 years ago and Tamarack Lodge was part of my early memory. Loved the live music and breakfast was good. Room was fun, but the bed wasn't the best. The floor was slanted and so were we! Not overly concerned do to the nature of the lodge. Don't get the" resort fee" as there are really no amenities, but it's the latest insult to travelers.
