My cousin and I loved our stay here. It was wonderful staying in a historical hotel close to the center of town and right in the middle of all the restaurants. Walking distance to the cathedral and park. Breakfast which is included was delicious and you had a choice of what you had. Service was great too

The hotel is really pretty, colonial building very nice but it needs renovation and improvements. The fridge did not work on any of the 4 rooms we got, super noisy so don’t expect to go there to rest. We were 4 and missed towels , asked the front desk but they never delivered, the bathrooms were stained, hot and cold water during 30 second cycles. The room was way too expensive for this hotel. On the other hand the staff and breakfast were great, and there are in the center of the city and around a lot of restaurants and bars

The check in process, the attentiveness of their staff was outstanding. The breakfast was excellent! I really liked the fact that it was so close "the calzada" which offers so many dining and nightlife options. We were traveling with two little ones (5 and 10) and they really loved this hotel

Welcome by all staff was very warm and friendly. Justin on give us lots of advice and arrange a Volcano tour with a super guide Harold. Hotel very well located, near the central square and restaurants and bars and other places to visit. Lovely old building with calm garden quadrangles.

Perfect room in the perfect location!

Our host, Jeffrey Gonzalezz, helped make every aspect of our stay at Hotel Dario absolutely perfect. The balcony was perfect for overlooking calle La Calzda at night and also to enjoy a beautiful sunrise while sitting for coffee in the morning. Breakfast was fantastic and the hotel itself was breathtaking. The hotel is also located witin walking distance of the main park and many city attractions. Room 103 was more than we expected and will be our go to hotel for future visits.

The property itself is gorgeous and in a great location next to restaurants, bars and shopping all walkable. The staff was incredibly nice and accommodating, especially Tania Flores who was the front desk receptionist who helped check us in. Our reservation with Expedia was a complete mess, but she was so patient and helpful in getting it all sorted out for us. She was fantastic.

Beautiful property with lovely features all throughout and period furniture. Calm space in the center fob town. Excellent location. The hotel opens up to street that has many restaurants that spill into the street at the evening. Staff was amazing and very helpful. Would love to come here again. Highly recommend. An excellent feature was a locked secure covered parking lot behind the hotel.

Very centrally located but rooms could be better

We had booked the superior twin room but the staff at the front desk had made some error and over booked/gave away our room to someone else. After about an hour of back and forth they gave us a superior twin however it was in a dilapidated state. It felt like that room wasn't used. Instead of two queen beds it had only one (the staff later got us another bed), the bathroom shower was broken, the curtains were very dusty. The hotel is very central but like someone else has posted, it can be loud in the superior twin rooms since they face a street with bars. The staff however especially Ramon during breakfast and the night duty staff were very nice and helpful. Even the two ladies were nice to us outside of the initial room fiasco.

Nice old buildings in relatively good shape. Most staff was extremely attentive and helpful. Several spoke some English. The 2 reasons I will never return are; my party was forced to cut a day off at the end of our multi night stay, and when I asked the mgr. about a refund for the last night (2 days before we had to leave), she claimed it was up to Orbitz. When I called Orbitz, they said it was the hotel's choice, but with two days notice, they should have no problem. Orbitz called the hotel and the same manager told them "no". When I asked her again, she tried to blame Orbitz. Secondly, the hotel's main entrance and half it's rooms face a narrow street with a nightclub directly across. Each evening the club cranks up very loud "music", interrupted every several seconds by a screaming guy playing the music. Worse, on our last night (a Sat), the hotel rented it's annex hall on the back side of the rooms building (across a narrow alley) out for a wedding that included a live band with a stunningly overpowered sound system that buffeted the back side of the rooms with 10 times the audio assault of the front side. This deafening cacophony went on past midnight. Then it returned to just the every night blast from the front side. The hotel probably has limited contol over the nightclub, but they have absolute control over the noise level and duration of the disturbances they allow from their rentals. If you care about sleeping at a reasonable hour, stay away.

The hotel is just in front of Calle Calzada, very convenient location. The hotel staff are very friendly and courteous. We were offered a welcome cocktail of cold drinks of ginger with Jamaican rum - very refreshing. The breakfast is superb with cold juice and fresh fruits! Highly recommended place to stay when visiting Granada!
