Excellent location. Lovely setting with wonderful staff who are always friendly and accommodating. Nothing is too much for them. Planning to return to this little charm.

Great holiday

Villa das Mangas was beautiful. It was easy to find and very central, one could get around without any difficulty. The hotel was well maintained and the staff was friendly and helpful. The food from the restaurant was delicious and we really enjoyed it. The only thing that did not meet my expectation was the closet space. we had to put our bags on the floor and on the couch. but overall we had a great stay and would visit again.

Gostei muito do local. Os trabalhadores muito agradáveis e o jardim muito bonito. Única coisa que não gostei que à habitação era ficava na mesma altura da piscina e não pude ter iluminação natural pq se não é visto de fora.

Great pool among the trees

Loved the pool and the trees poolside. The room and the breaky weren’t anything to write home about. Friendly management and staff. Located in a lovely, buzzing part of Maputo.

The rooms were good but no water Informed reception and was told would be 10 mins We had 2 rooms in one the water was freezing and the other no water at all 2 Prostitutes approached me and my grown up son whilst having a drink by pool the evening we stayed!!

Good hotel with friendly staff

Well priced hotel in a great location. Friendly and helpful staff. Good security. Easy check in process. Great lunch/dinner restaurant food which means you don’t need to drive in the evenings since there is a bar and some nights live entertainment like jazz bar. They do need to improve on the breakfast session though and have an English version of the menu .

Wifi doesn’t work well in the rooms, you have to sit in the pool/garden area to get it. Connection dropped frequently. The rooms are pretty simple for the price, but the location is good, near to a lot of restaurants.

Pretty boutique hotel convenient location

Must come prepared with drinking water, kettle and coffee. The keurig machine had none. Nice teas tho. Luxury room had smart design, comfortable bed, plenty of outlets and a very pretty view of the garden. Buffet breakfast was good with very good coffee. But, there was no description of services, outside of notice at reception of checkout and at restaurant about breakfast hours. We liked the reception and staff. We'll return.

Big disappointment

Where do I start with the disappointment? The reservation was mixed, the room was tiny, crumpy or broken. The water pressure in the shower was poor and the water temperatures not in balance. The hotel introduction give an impression of a pleasant athmosphere but it was far from that. Don't trust the photos - avoid. Never again.

rude and overpriced "hotel". the service was rude and unpleasant. the changed us for a room mirror we didn't break. no airport pick up or transport even they it said on website. bad breakfast. small rooms. the local area was good with nice places for food and drinks. when arrived we had a very nice and friendly service from one of the waiters serving us beers

Insgesamt recht enttäuschend

Das urspünglich gebuchte Zimmer (Premium Tree House) bot kaum Platz für 2 Personen mit Gepäck. Bett zu schmal für 2 Personen. Immerhin gabs auf Reklamation hin ein kostenloses Upgrade auf einen Luxury Room. Dieser war schön gross und sauber, ging allerdings zur Strasse hin, von wo bis spätabends Musik von der Bar zu hören war. Das Bett war gross, aber unbequem (Metallfedern in Matratze drückten durch). Lächerlich war die auf der Hotelwebsite beworbene Nespressomaschine. Die war zwar da, es fehlte aber ein Teil der Abtropfschale und es gab keine Kapseln. Letztluch also sinnlos. Der Pool war gut, auch wenn den ganzen Tag die Putzmaschine lief. Das Frühstück war alles andere als "glorious" (so die Hotelwebsite). Es bietet gerade mal Durchschnitt (Brot, Ei, Speck, Früchte, Cornflakes, Kuchen). Schon 1/4 h nach Öffnung des Büffets ging ein Teil des Frühstücks aus, trotz mehrfacher Nachfrage gabs keinen Nachschub. Richtiger Kaffee wurde mit 150 Mts extra berechnet, für Mosambik ein sehr stolzer Preis! Lage zur Erkhndungbder Stadt (zu Fuss) und Zufahrt (von Süden via EN4 / von Norden via EN1-Costa do Sol) sehr gut.

OK stay

It was OK. The room was pretty cramped. The shower leaked and there was water all over the bathroom that went into the room. One of my towels was dirty. Bar soap would be nice as the liquid soap provided smelled really weird. The people/staff were really nice friendly and helpful.
