Looking up to Dalt Vila (Ibiza Old Town) from the port. The Dalt Vila was declared a UNESCO World Heritage Site in 1999 and it is absolutely stunning! Sensible shoes are a must and it is very much worth a visit if you are lucky enough to be on the beautiful island of Ibiza. This was my first visit to the island, May 2019 and it won’t be my last! The Spanish people are so friendly and welcoming and the weather was perfect ☀️ wonderful, chilled out atmosphere and not at all just a place to go clubbing, Ibiza is so much more than that! 🇪🇸

Photo taken on my recent visit to the beautiful island of Ibiza, in the town centre is the statue of Joaquín Vara de Rey y Rubio, born on Ibiza on 14th August 1841 and died fighting as a General in the Independence War of Cuba 1st July 1898. I didn’t notice the arc of light over the statue until I looked at my pictures later that night, it was the only picture it happened in! 🇪🇸
